Studio
Amy thought it would be a good idea to go into the studio and get familiar with the equipment and roles in terms of what we would be doing and doing so proved to be quite helpful, i managed to get to grips with the vision mixing as well as the sound mixing as i found found both of them pretty straight forward i was able to apply pictures to the green screen with ease and work the transitions also putting up text and switching from cameras 1,2 and 3 , the only thing that i would find particularly difficult is timing and knowing when to do what but apart from that it was fairly simple.
after getting my head round that i thought i would go and see everybody else in there working environments so the floor manager and the camera men and the talents,
the floor manager is supposed to ensure that sets, props and technical equipment are safe, ready to use and in the right position prior to filming. They have coordinating role, acting as the link between the director and the many people involved in a production sort of bridging the gap making sure things are intact and run smoothly.

It is the floor manager's responsibility to pass on cues to presenters and guests to make sure timings are met and the broadcast goes well. The floor manager main goal is to make sure that events go according to plan and that people taking part know what there doing and their particular roles and how it fits in with whatever else is going on, at least this is what was supposed to be going on....
as we were just playing about and getting a feel for our roles there wasn't much "co-coordinating" or "responsibility" involved but we did understand what would happen and how it would link to the other jobs
Having used the studio cameras before or at least watched them be used it all seemed too complicated for me but the people in our group who were placed with the responsibility of being the camera men seemed to have great knowledge of how to use them and how they worked but any of the more complex things to do with them wouldn't be needed any way as we will mostly be using 4 or 5 shots which are just simple pointing cameras zooming and focusing.
As we didn't have long i didn't get the chance to see the talent although i don't think we even had any, but we ended up using Zavier as the host and it turns out hes a natural and we intend to use him as our main host when it comes to the actual production.

Do you think this is enough work?
